The Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District No. 5 (FBCMUD 5) Board of Directors would like to remind residents of the information posted to the District website in regards to hurricane awareness and preparedness, ahead of TS Beryl making landfall Monday morning, July 8 2024.

The FBCMUD 5 Board of Directors would like to also reiterate for residents: streets are meant to be additional water conveyance methods when the amount of rainfall exceeds the storm drain and detention capacities. Residents should not drive into or through deep water, per the NOAA, TDEM, and FEMA guidance of “Turn Around, Don’t Drown”.
